Low-carb European-style Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
- 1 tablespoon ThickenThin not/Sugar thickener
- Sweetener equivalent to 2 teaspoons sugar, or to taste
- Pinch salt

Directions
Makes 1 six-fluid-ounce serving
1. In a 1-quart saucepan mix cocoa, ThickenThin not/Sugar thickener, sweetener and salt to a paste with 1 tablespoon of the water.
2. Gradually mix in remaining water and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, whisking constantly. Serve immediately.
Variation: Whisk in 1 tablespoon cream after mixture comes to a boil. Add a pinch of cinnamon for Mexican-style hot chocolate.
