Easy Lowcarb Ketchup

Our sugar-free version is close to the real thing, takes seconds of work to prepare, and is very low in carbs.

 

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup canned tomato juice
  • 1 tablespoon ThickenThin not/Starch thickener
  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • Sweetener equivalent to 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • pinch ground cloves or allspice, optional

     

Directions

Makes 1 cup.

1. Mix all the ingredients together in order listed. Let stand a few minutes to thicken.

2. Store in refrigerator covered. It keeps several weeks when refrigerated.
