Lowcarb Milkshakes

These milkshakes are delicious, and easy to make. Not only are they sugar-free, but they also contain soluble fiber!

The recipe below is a basic milkshake recipe. See the notes at the end for variations.

 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 tablespoon ThickenThin not/Sugar thickener
  • Sweetener equivalent to 6 teaspoons sugar, or to taste
  • flavor or extract, to taste

     

Directions

Serves 1.

1. Combine ingredients in a blender.

2. Blend until frothy.

NOTES: For variations on a creamy milkshake replace the heavy cream with 2oz sour cream, or 1/2 cup plain yoghurt or buttermilk.
