Ordering and Shipping Details

Our lightweight but strong and flexible packages make shipping them economical and safe.

We don't have the 2010 schedule yet, but you can use the following 2009 information for guidance.

While orders, e-mails, and telephone messages may be placed at any time, please note that our Customer Service and Shipping departments will be closed 11/26 and 11/27, 12/24 and 12/25, and 12/31 and 1/1, so that our staff can enjoy the holidays.

Please also note that UPS does not offer its usual delivery guarantee for ground shipments picked up or scheduled for delivery between December 11 and 24. If you choose UPS ground, allow extra time. Note also that there will be no UPS Ground pick up or delivery service November 27, December 24 or December 31, nor will packages be moved on holidays, so plan accordingly.

For Priority Mail, please note that the Post Office's deadline for pre-Christmas delivery to US addresses is December 21, which means your must order be received by us by 6 am EST December 21. Orders received after that time will be shipped after Christmas.

Please note that our products are packed by weight and may be subject to settling.

  • Our food products are not perishable during shipping.
  • Our Shopping Cart offers several shipping choices. Smaller orders usually cost less by USPS Priority Mail than UPS Ground and usually arrive as fast. Priority Mail also has Saturday deliveries. However, Priority Mail does not offer specified delivery dates or provide tracking during shipment. USPS Express Mail may be offered as an option in our Shopping Cart when staffing levels permit.
  • To estimate your delivery time, note that shipments are made from zip code 44122 (Beachwood, Ohio). We ship most orders within three business days following receipt of order (orders received after 6 a.m Eastern time will be processed the next business day). Shipments may be delayed because of the carriers' holiday schedules.

It is the customer's responsibility to comply with the laws and regulations of the destination country. It is also the customer's responsibility to cover the cost of international shipping, including any additional fees for time guarantees, tracking information, and insurance, as the customer may select, plus any duties and brokerage fees that may be required by the destination country.

Priority Mail International offered by the US Postal Service is usually the most cost-effective method for shipping smaller orders internationally. However, it does not offer guaranteed delivery times, tracking information, or insurance. Our experience with shipping to Canada has been good, but while most shipments to other countries have arrived safely within a few days, some have not arrived for several weeks, and a few not at all. Unfortunately, once an item is shipped by Priority Mail International, we have no control over it, nor any way to get information about it, so shipments by this method are made at the customer's risk.

Express Mail International is more expensive but it provides tracking, and provides $100 insurance for each package (with additional available on request).

We will replace damaged or defective merchandise. However, we do not give refunds. We do not accept returns other than damaged or defective merchandise.
